We empower Australian businesses to manage financial crime risk with a clear, structured, and governance‑led approach to AUSTRAC’s evolving AML/CTF obligations. We design practical, defensible, and highly tailored compliance frameworks for Lawyers, Accountants, Conveyancers, and Real Estate Agencies Clubs and Pubs. With NAVGO, complex regulatory requirements are transformed into clear, sustainable processes. We don't just protect your business—we strengthen stakeholder trust, mitigate systemic risk, and empower you to navigate risk and govern with confidence.
NAVGO provides specialist AML/CTF advisory and governance services designed specifically for Tranche 2 entities. We partner with your organization to:
Demystify Compliance: Translate your evolving AUSTRAC obligations into clear, actionable corporate strategies.
Architect Defensible Programs: Design and implement a fully compliant, risk-based AML/CTF Program tailored to your operating model.
Robust Client Onboarding: Establish robust Customer Due Diligence (CDD) frameworks, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) workflows, and ultimate beneficial ownership (UBO) verification checks.
Uplift Governance & Culture: Deliver tailored AML training programs that embed compliance culture and strengthen board-level governance.
Audit & Review Readiness: Proactively prepare your team, documentation, and systems for AUSTRAC reviews, independent assessments, and regulatory audits.
Our approach is clear, structured, and precisely calibrated to the unique risk profile of your sector.
NAVGO partners primarily with Tranche 2 businesses, hospitality venues, and designated service providers navigating the shifting regulatory landscape. We specialize in tailoring robust AML/CTF frameworks for:
Legal & Conveyancing Practices: Law firms, independent practitioners, conveyancers, and settlement agents.
Accounting & Advisory Firms: Accounting practices, bookkeeping services, and specialized corporate advisors.
Property & Real Estate Sectors: Real estate agencies, property managers, and commercial real estate syndicates.
Hospitality & Gaming Venues: Registered clubs, pubs, and venues operating electronic gaming machines or offering designated wagering services.
High-Value & Luxury Goods Dealers: Bullion dealers, jewellers, and luxury asset traders managing significant cash or high-value transactions.
Because each sector faces a fundamentally different risk profile, we don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. We isolate the specific risks inherent to your operations, helping you satisfy your legal obligations with total confidence.
Navigating the shifting regulatory landscape requires more than just a reactive approach to compliance; it demands a strategic partner who understands your operational reality. NAVGO bridges the gap between complex statutory frameworks and practical, everyday business operations. We provide the targeted expertise necessary to transform regulatory obligations into a distinct competitive advantage, ensuring your organization is completely protected, fully prepared, and positioned for sustainable growth.
Here is why Australian businesses partner with NAVGO:
Specialist Tranche 2 Focus: We don't apply rigid, retail-banking models to your business. We focus exclusively on newly regulated sectors, ensuring your framework fits your industry's exact risk profile.
Defensible Governance: We don't sell generic templates. NAVGO builds highly tailored AML/CTF Programs designed to confidently withstand independent reviews and regulatory scrutiny.
Complex Rules, Simplified: We strip away the compliance jargon. Our team translates intricate AUSTRAC requirements into simple, actionable workflows that your staff can easily execute.
Flawless Reporting & Intelligence: Protect your reputation by getting the fundamentals right. We optimize your framework for precise SMR, IFTI, and threshold reporting while closing vulnerability gaps.
Continuous Assurance: From initial gap analysis and implementation to ongoing training and audit preparation, we provide complete, end-to-end advisory support.
The regulatory landscape for Australian gatekeeper professions and designated services has fundamentally changed. Under AUSTRAC’s comprehensive reforms, compliance is no longer a checklist—it is an outcome-focused, risk-based operational mandate. Failing to properly implement these shifting rules exposes your business to severe regulatory penalties and profound reputational damage. NAVGO cuts through the legal complexity, converting intensive statutory obligations into seamless, defensible workflows tailored precisely to your operational reality.
Critical AUSTRAC Tranche 2 Deadlines
The transition window is closing fast. To maintain your right to operate and avoid substantial non-compliance penalties, your business must meet these hard AUSTRAC milestones:
31 March 2026 - Enrolment Opened: The AUSTRAC Online portal officially opened for Tranche 2 reporting entity enrolments. Forward-thinking firms began registering their details from this date.
1 July 2026 - Full Obligations Commence: The hard operational launch date. From this day forward, your business cannot legally provide designated services unless your compliance program is fully active, staff are trained, and verification protocols are live.
29 July 2026 - Final Enrolment & Notification Deadline: The final legal cut off. All newly regulated entities must complete their AUSTRAC enrolment and formally notify the regulator of their appointed AML/CTF Compliance Officer by this date. Failing to enrol by this deadline attracts severe daily statutory fines.
